A Little Review...

Well, today I watched 'Cirque Du Freak: The Vampires Assistant', which I had actually been waiting years for. I've read almost all 12 books of the series, and so, I was pretty happy for the film. The film was based on the first three books...Well, supposed to be anyway. So, here's my littler review:
First off, the setting was wrong. It's set in Ireland, not some random place in America [I think it was Baltamore]. Then, there's the age...Darren is meant to be 14, not 16. They've got the heights wrong too...

Well, they skimmed through the first 100 pages of the first book. All the events were mashed up into one big scene. It skipped them so much, it left out most of the important bits. Sure, they got SOME of it right. But they didn't even bother to show them catching the tickets, the bleeding-knee scene and other important stuff. Then there's the Steve-wanting-to-be-a-vampire scene...They got MOST of it right...

My laptops dying so here's the basics:

30% 1st book, 10% second book, 10% 3rd book, 50p% random made-up crap

Oh yus!

Haha, long time no see, eh? Well, there's not much to talk about but here it goes:
I got tickets for Kerrang's Relentless Energy Drink Tour [All Time Low, The Blackout, My Passion, Young Guns]. So I'm pretty excited about that, I mean I'll be in the same room as Alex Gaskarth....*Fangirlygiggle* But enough of my fangirliness, I have tickets for Reel Big Fish too!
Green Day, Paramore, Relentless Energy Drink Tour, You Me At Six and Reel Big Fish to look forward to. Life's sweet for me, gigwise.

In other news...I've managed to increase my iTunes library by 300 songs in a day. Whilst searching for one Bring Me The Horizon CD, I stumbled upon a box full to the brim with CDs. Heaven, absolute heaven. I've picked out the ones I want, which came up to about 30 CDs. This included Limp Bizkit, Aerosmith, blink-182, Killswitch Engage, Guns 'N' Roses and Sum 41. There's still about 15 more CDs to go, I think Alexisonfire is in the pile.

All I seem to talk about is music, might as well talk about the hell-hole I call school. My history lessons with Merlin are pretty messed up, every time he reaches an important point he practically jizzes in pants. And I have no idea why I'm in the lower set for English, I know everything that's being taught to me. Seriously, we were give 45 minutes to write a story called 'Theif', I did three pages of introduction by the end of the time. Then Miss Bee tells me that she loved the story, and so did her husband! Why would her husband like a story on a vampire? A VAMPIRE?! I had lines from the book Cirque Du Freak stuck in my brain, mixed with a bit of Marked and a tiiiny bit of Eclipse...Which are all vampire books. So that musta been why I wrote about a vampire who stole stuff. And in german & French, Bateman (AKA, BATMAN) treats me like I'm a Jeffy. If you didn't understand that watch The Ringer NOW. Ah, but Treen is gone on Friday, so there'll be no more depressing 'People-die-from-gymnastics-and-my-daughter-has-leukimea-and-alchoholics-are-on-the-rise' speeches.

Yeah, I'm tired :/

Cool Beans

Yeah, I like saying that now. So, I had quite a productive day. I woke up and looked like crap; I had to go through TONS of beauty procedures to look a bit decent. I'm gonna put the rest in list form:
Got out the house, started to rain.
Got to the bus-stop.
Got attacked by a leaf, one of those big ass ones aswell.
Got to town, tripped out the bus.
Ran into Alice.
Almost bought Babycakes tickets from Alice.
Ran into Hannah.
Hannah dragged me to see Emo Dan.
Emo Dan don't like me.
Ran into Alice again.
Waited outside Cafe Nero for my lift.
Realised it was Match Day.
Got home.

So yeah, that's pretty much what happened. In other news...I have three new albums. Common Dreads (Enter Shikari), Brand New Eyes (Paramore) and Take Of Your Colours Deluxe (YouMeAtSix).

Common Dreads - It was pretty awesome, it's the kinda stuff I like so...Yeah.
Brand New Eyes - Probably the best Paramore album yet.
Take Off Your Colours Deluxe - FINALLY, they have Finders Keepers on a CD! Thanks YMAS!

I decided to actually buy YMAS's album, because I never got it when they supported FOB last year, and they're supporting Paramore this year. The deluxe version has two discs, complete with music videos and their new tracks which weren't on the original Take Off Your Colours.
Brand New Eyes was well worth the wait, it's been quite long since Riot! was released, so it's good to hear new stuff from Paramore.
Common Dreads...It was just epic. It came off as noise at first, but I've warmed up to it.

I completly forgot to buy Muse's new album, since Uprising sounded awesome and had a hint of Blondie in it. Oh well, I'll get it eventually.

Well, I'm off to...Be random somewhere else.
